My wife and I were very pleased with the entire process. The appointment was scheduled within days of contact. Ron and his wife were very professional and explained each part of the inspection. Ron answered every questioned I had as he went through the inspection. They were very thorough and spend almost 6 hours inspecting our home. The final report was very detailed and allowed us to submit our 11 month warranty repairs to our builder. We were so glad we had this inspection completed. I wasn't sure if I needed a home inspection on my brand new construction home. My thought was, my VA appraisal would cover this Inspection. I was totally wrong. I contacted Mr. Roanld Pigeon at PIS in Fredericksburg VA, and he explained his entire process of his home Inspection. Ron completed our home Inspection and found numerous issues/concerns and safety items missed by the home builders. Upon Ron's complete report (color photos), I presented his findings to the home builder prior to closing on home. Our home builders took the report and fixed all of Ron's finding prior to closing. I am in the process of buying a new home in Fredericksburg, VA. It is my opinion that the builder or his workers do not know much about reading blueprints. I was so dissatisfied that my realtor suggested that we have an independent inspection on the house. We had Ronald to do a pre inspection on my house that was being built. He went through it with a find tooth comb.
I have used Professional Inspection Services LLC, twice now, both times Ronald was very thorough in his inspection of my house. I would gladly recommend his company.
