I have been a loyal customer of Alpha Advantage in Plano for a while, but my recent experiences have left me very disappointed. Last week, I noticed there was a whole new team in place. Was told that Lucio & team decided to go on a different direction. Only to find out they had be fired.

During my visit, I was asked if I wanted my credit card left on file. I explicitly stated that I did not want it on file, and this didn't seem to be an issue at the time.

However, when I visited today (July 19), Karen asked if she should charge the card on file. I reminded her of our conversation from last week about not wanting my card on file. Dr Lucio up and left with no notice after he performed tests, which I haven't received the results for. No one informed me. I found out when he failed to appear to a televisit and so I called the office, somehow was routed to accounting who couldn't connect me to the office. Office called back and scheduled an in person visit with the new doctor because she does not do televisits. Then it was a bombardment of texts and emails in the name of both old and new doctors. 2 days before said appointment the office calls to confirm the appointment but after explaining that I do not wish to be a new patient of the new doctor and I just want the test results I paid for. It was agreed to cancel the appointment and that my results will be sent to me. That rap was not truthful. The test results never arrived. Great customer service and care! Staff is super welcoming and friendly, highly recommend! Today was my first visit for the iv treatment and have already made my next appointment to return.

UPDATE—— the owner reached out and corrected the issue listed below & explained that it was a kink in their office software that was the reason for being billed. I greatly appreciated that & plan to re-visit the office ASAP for a treatment!

The facility is beautiful. People are extremely nice. Loved the treatment.

I was not happy with the billing/advertisements that this was 100% covered by insurance. I was seen a total of three times and paid a $50 co-pay at the front desk each time. Was told upon checking in that it was 100% covered by my insurance and that all that would be due would be the $50 co-pay. After visits I have been called every week to see if I would like to finish my treatments that are covered under “insurance”. The same exact thing that happened to Josh Doty is happening to me. This place is sending claims to my insurance for $2500 for each IV treatment! Of course my insurance is only going to cover so much, so I'm getting notices now that I owe close to $500 dollars. This is starting to look very shady. Now I don't have any negative thing to say about the staff at the facility, they are very nice and do a great job, but there is something not right about this set up with billing and insurance. There is no way to justify on any planet $2500 for IV therapy with vitamin shots. I'm awaiting a call from their billing department and will update if there are any changes. Lucio was amazing to work with! We came in for my husbands follow up appointment and I was not feeling well. They created a patient account for me and he was able to get me taken care of as well. He is extremely knowledgeable and very informative! Read more >
