For more than five years, I lived in what felt like a constant battle with my own mind and body. The anxiety I experienced wasn’t occasional stress—it was completely debilitating. My nervous system felt like it was stuck in overdrive every single day. My heart would race for no reason, my thoughts would spiral, and my body constantly felt like it was under attack. It felt like I was fighting myself from the moment I woke up until the moment I tried to sleep.

The exhaustion that came with it was overwhelming. Fighting an invisible battle in your own body every day for years drains you mentally, physically, and emotionally. My quality of life was nonexistent. Things that once felt simple—going out, focusing on work, enjoying time with people I loved—became incredibly difficult.

Everyone on the team is super caring. Dr Kala does a great job of listening to what you’re feeling and helping coach you to feel your best. It’s very refreshing to be heard and just told to increase my meditation.

I have been working with Kala for 6 years now and have been very happy with the care, professionalism, and results. I can honestly say I have not felt this good since I was in my 30's. She has been able to figure out that I had an autoimmune condition when I had been told I was "fine" by 2 other doctors. I will always be grateful to Kala for all that she has done for me and my health.

As soon as I started the program I was diagnosed with a serious colitis issue. This sort of derailed me in every way. Thankfully Kala and the coaches not only didn’t give up on me, they went out of their way to be supportive and encouraging. I really needed that support and guidance. So even though my journey was not typical, they stuck with me and walked me through making adjustments along the way.

I have been seeing Kala at PinkLink for about five years now. I was at my wits end when I started seeing her; dealing with depression, anxiety and inflammation just to name a few of my issues. One of the things we discovered was some sensitivity to foods that I was regularly consuming, which was giving me leaky gut. While addressing the food sensitivities she also takes a SUPER in depth look at hormones and God knows what else 😆 she finds the levels that work for YOUR body. Not just the “normal” levels. Every human body is different and we can’t all be treated with the same template! Kala literally saved my life. I had a plan and was ready to act on it before I gave her the opportunity to help me. I was impressed with Kala and her staff and decided to spend the money and work with her. She is an expert on hormones and women’s bodies. I learned things I never knew. They are super friendly and welcoming, and I was seen right on time. Kala DeHaan-Hill, WHCNP, RN was very thorough and took the time to explain everything to me in a way that made sense. I came to Pink Link Medical for several reasons; I knew my health was not where it needed to be and I did not want to go the standard sick-care route of taking meds to cover up the problems. At the time I was about to turn 60 years of age and I knew if I did not make a big change in my health, I probably would not be here to see 70. Up until last year, I never had a problem with my blood pressure. It seemed to be erratic, up and down, mostly up. My doctor wanted to put me on meds but I said no way; I know the side effects and all that leads to is another med to cover up those side effects.
