Palmetto Preschool & Learning Center

We learned about Palmetto Preschool & Learning Center in 2012 when we first moved to the Myrtle Beach area. I enrolled my granddaughter in their 4 year old program. The things they learn to get them ready for kindergarten is fantastic! Once they are school age (and attending Palmetto Academy of Learning and Success which is attached to PPLC), PPLC offers an after school program which is super convenient for working parents. They provide the parents with upcoming dates the center will be closed way ahead of time so parents can make arrangements. They also offer openings for school age children during winter break, spring break and best of all, summer camp!! The leadership of PPLC is receptive when parents need to talk about any perceived issues with their little ones. They are all very involved in the day to day activity at the center. My 2.5 year old has been attending PPLC since he was 7 months old. After 3 daycare changes I was convinced that there were no childcare facilities in the area that provided not only adequate care for my son but a healthy learning environment as well. When I enrolled him at PPLC, any doubts or concerns I may have had were quickly laid to rest. This was by far the best decision I ever made. The staff, curriculum, and nurturing atmosphere far surpasses any expectation that I ever had. My little one wakes up early on Saturday's wanting to "go to school", I anxiously await picking him up everyday to find out what new song, color, or concept he's learned, and being a part of this PPLC group helps me in knowing that I have a support system backing me if I have any questions or concerns in his progress. Our baby has become more social and learns something new all the time ! The staff is amazing and will do anything to help. He has been there since daycare and is greeted everyday by the teachers he sees while he walks into the toddler room with a smile. We love this place ! Read more >

We have been with PALs for over 4 years. It's one of the best preschools in this area for many reasons. The staff and teachers are caring and professional. My boys have learned so much from their teachers and they continue to grow each year. The teachers are the best in the business and they truly care for the kids! I would not take my kids any where else!
