I love Over the Rainbow because they are dedicated and care about the children. I am quite over protective of my daughter and very few people are allowed to care for her because we want to ensure she is safe. I feel confident knowing she is well cared for at Over the Rainbow. Communication is key for me and my husband and the staff is very good regarding this. Her language and fine motor skills have developed rapidly over the past few months and we owe that success to the staff at Over the Rainbow. Our son has been attending Over The Rainbow Daycare for a little over a month now and we are so happy. They are so kind, are constantly communicating with the parents, and always doing fun activities with the kids. Our son is in the toddlers room, and he is having so much fun. Before attending, he was quiet and not speaking much. We can truly see a difference in him as he uses more words to communicate with us throughout the day. His teacher does a great job updating the app for us throughout the day with pictures and updates so we can always feel comfortable knowing what's going on. I am so happy we chose such a dedicated team. We made the difficult decision of enrolling our son in the middle of a pandemic, and they have always made us feel safe about our decision. It has been such an easy transition, from having my baby and getting back to work and not wanting to leave my new baby, but Over the Rainbow staff has made me feel much better. I still miss my little guy so much and think about him constantly, but they have put my mind at ease so I can work and know he is being cared for well and they have also been updating me throughout my child’s day and send pictures! They have excellent caregivers, you won’t be disappointed.

My boys and I love Over the rainbow. The staff is great. They are so caring and wonderful to my boys. My boys are so excited when I drop them off. When I pick them up they have big smiles on their faces talking about their day and what they had made. I would highly recommend OTR.

Both our children attended Over the Rainbow in Hamden from ages 8 weeks until they left for kindergarten. The infant room setup is phenomenal-- the babies can be in cribs sleeping in a darkened room, or they can be in the care room being rocked or fed, or crawl around anywhere as it is all baby proofed. We have had wonderful preschool teachers there, who offered our children stability and developed their skills like letter recognition, etc. The playground is segregated by age, and is not near any road. And they also have a generator! So when everyone else loses power for a week, you'll still have childcare. Don't underestimate the value of that!

My wife and I have been bringing our daughter to OTR for two months and it has been great! Our daughter is actively cared for and in a continuously engaging environment. I can confidently say that my daughter is in great hands! I highly recommend Over The Rainbow to anyone looking for great childcare at an affordable price!
