When I called the Newton Group it was really my last hope having tried several other companies with no results. The Newton group was very professional very efficient and thorough. They kept me informed every step of the way. They told me the anticipated time frame but it was sooner than expected; everything with smoothly. I am so happy to put this behind me , get from under that debt and not have to worry about leaving it to my family. The Newton Group took all the stress out of owning a timeshare. Being Canadian & owning a timeshare in the USA was pretty complicated when it came to trying to get rid of it. Quite simply, the timeshare companies DON't want you to get rid of them. Finding a reputable company to do the leg work was a difficult task as well. There were too many sketchy companies out there that just wanted your money. I will admit, that I was somewhat pressured in to the original sale, and even though at the time, it was cheap, it still cost me thousands in fees & improvements & using a 3rd company for alternative travel locations was getting more and more expensive with very poor or poorly kept accommodations.
