New Hope Acupuncture has been absolutely incredible. I went in with intense neck pain from a C3 slipped disk that had been bothering me for years. Unable to rotate my neck fully, but after two sessions I walked out feeling lighter, looser and with noticeably more mobility.

The office and the healing rooms are clean, warming and very calming. I highly recommend it to anyone dealing with pain of tension.

I just wanted to take a moment to emphasize how helpful Dr. Shu has been in treating my condition. I’ve been dealing with ongoing shoulder and neck pain for around 3-4 months. I’ve tried everything under the sun to target the pain. OTC painkillers, heating pads, pain relieving creams, prescribed muscle relaxers, and more! I’ve even gone to many different specialists to get different opinions. I’ve gone to chiropractors, neck and shoulder specialists, PCP, and so on. But no one was able to diagnose and implement a treatment as quickly as Dr. Shu.

If you’re like me and feel like you’ve exhausted all options, please give acupuncture/cupping therapy a try!! It’s a shame it’s not more well known given how effective it is. I highly recommend to anyone feeling any tightness or other kinds of muscle pain. The difference one session makes is lik night and day.

I was involved in a motor vehicle accident about 9 months ago and I suffered internal injuries from the accident. In the Emergency Room I was diagnosed with a severe sprain to the neck and shoulder. They sent me to physical therapy. I was having nerve pain in my neck and left arm. The physical therapist referred me to an orthopedic doctor, who diagnosed a pinched nerve in my neck. He gave me medication that did not help. By then I was experiencing daily pain, numbness, tingling and weakness in the entire left side of my body. My PCP referred me to a Neurosurgeon in Boston, who ordered a brain scan. The neurosurgeon has now referred me to a Neurologist. My symptoms caused tremendous distress for several months. Finally I found the real acupuncture office that know how make me feel 15-20 years younger body. In my younger days I was very active with lots of sports, MTB to hiking and you name it I done it all. Definitely over work my body. Now in my late 50's, aches and pains is getting the best of me. Thank God I found Rachel @ New hope. Before I found Rachel I went to 7 different acupuncturist in the last 5 years and was not happy with results. Highly recommend anyone just like I been preferring family, coworkers and friends and they couldn't stop thanking me for recommend them to New Hope. Dr. Shu at New Hope Acupuncture successfully treated me for a severe case of eczema through acupuncture and herbs. The treatments also helped achieve more consistent sleep through the night and higher energy levels during the day and lessened my stress levels through better balance. Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) has been around for hundreds of years and represents a non-invasive alternative to drugs or surgery for many chronic, painful conditions. She truly wanted to help me, and did straightaway. Highly recommend.

After having Covid, then a cold brought back from european travelers, ear infection and overall NOT FEELING well in spite of antibiotics ear infection, I found New Hope acupuncture. I have gone to other in area, but Dr Shu is a gifted practitioner.

I felt better after the initial treatment and When I came to the 2nd treatment expressing a constant fluid build up in ears she worked her magic! I no longer am walking around “under water”…for those who suffer sinus and ear issues make an appointment!

I originally came in to treat ankle pain and after the first session was able to increase vigorous activity with little to no pain. I learned however that acupuncture can treat various ailments and began working on treating poor kidney function. She really took her time learning more about my symptoms and how they have been impacting me. After one session my symptoms were significantly milder. Dr. Fangrui Shu is very thorough and works hard to improve her patients quality of life.
