Dr. Shu helped me out during a very difficult time when I was quite sick physically and emotionally and wasn’t sleeping much. She helped me to truly be able to relax my body and the treatment I felt immediately as very relaxing and healing. She gave me a breathing and meditation technique to do during treatment, and the needles were inserted with each one having a definite purpose. I never felt much with other acupuncturists and I’ve been to a lot of them. This was definitely different. She sincerely cared and wanted to help and made herself readily available. I was quite impressed and I am happy to know that I can go back should anything else arise.

My face has suffered from an annoying skin problem for a long time, with the face being very red, swollen and itchy. I was referred to Dr. Shu by a friend one month ago. After the first treatment, my face felt better, less swollen and itchy. After 4 treatments using both herbal medicine and acupuncture, my face has been doing so much better with no swollen/itchiness/redness. In the meanwhile, my ear pain which had bothered me for quite a long time has reduced a lot, and my lower back pain, bowel movement and urination all improved.
