I have an affliction called dupoytrens contracture, which can be relieved by surgery or a chemical treatment, in the past I tried the chemical, which worked for a time, but it came back. After a few visits my finger is almost 100% after a few more I believe it should be healed. Highly recommended

Dr. Shu is a very talented and dedicated acupuncturist. I went to her because I was having a lot of pain and tightness in my calves and feet from chronic PLANTAR FASCIITIS. Also I was dealing with ARTHRITIS in my big toe. These problems persisted for more than 15 years.
Over the years I had worked with many podiatrists and physical therapists as well as a long list of alternative therapists. Nothing I tried helped.
After working with Dr. Shu for 6 weeks my plantar fasciitis is finally healing. I am absolutely thrilled! Now I can get through the day and also take progressively longer walks without pain.

I recently had the pleasure of receiving treatment from Junting Shu at New Hope Acupuncture and Wellness in Acton, and I am compelled to share my experience.

From the moment I walked into the clinic, I felt welcomed and at ease. Junting Shu took the time to listen to my concerns about my chronic shoulder pain, numbness in my arms and fingers, and debilitating migraines. Her attentive and compassionate approach immediately put me at ease.

After my first session, I noticed a significant improvement in my symptoms. The shoulder pain that had been bothering me for days started to subside, and the numbness in my arms and fingers disappeared. Most impressively, my migraine pain decreased dramatically.

A great acupuncture experience. Junting was fantastic by really listening to my concerns and developed a plan to target my specific needs at every appointment. My vertigo was instantly better. Every time I left there I felt relaxed and rejuvenated.

I have never felt better! My first visit was because I had tendinitis in my right elbow, I was unable to pick up a glass after that treatment, The pain had decreased enough that I could pick up a glass and after my second visit, I had zero pain. Since then, I have been treated for several other injuries, and after my treatment, I have always felt significantly better. I cannot say enough good things But I do recommend to all of my friends to come and try.

I had never tried acupuncture before, and went to New Hope at the start of the year for persistent tendonitis. Dr. Shu is awesome! Very thorough, makes one feel quite at ease. In just 5 visits over the course of a month, the tendonitis, associated pain and swelling is..almost gone! I should've tried this before, instead of spending time on various other methods that didn't help. Looking to get back to full sporting activity in a few weeks. In short - highly recommended!

Junting is very accommodating and really cares about her clients well being. As someone who isn’t too fond of needles she creates a soothing and calm environment. I had been dealing with some neck and shoulder pain that was causing nerve pain down my arm. After a few visits doing acupuncture and cupping the pain has gone away. Highly recommend.
