Best-in-Class Pre-K
I’m thankful as a parent new to the area I found Mt Olive for my son’s pre-K year. Here are some aspects that make this pre-K so wonderful: encouraging and requiring personal responsibility in *all aspects* of school time, weekly and monthly lesson plans are shared with parents; a structured yet playful environment; classroom “centers” with stimulating activities and toys engaging kids in science, math, handwriting, art, and sensory play and promoting social and emotional development; weekly short story books (aligned with weekly theme) and week-long chapter books; weekly Bible memory verses and chapel. The reach of the pre-K teachers’ investment extends to me as the parent via my son’s growth over the year, and I’m thankful for what I’ve received as a result in addition to all my son has received and learned.
