They replaced the roof of our home 6 months before we purchased it. Come to find out, the bathroom vent area was not sealed properly and caused a leak. They came out to help determine where the leak was from and sent out a "mold expert” as well. It was determined by the expert they sent that the only thing that could have caused the water was that. As further proof, once they fixed the seal, everything dried and there have been no additional issues. (We were still very much in the middle of a weird warm and cold fluctuating winter) After all this, they said they would not remove and replace the affected area because it couldn’t be determined for sure that it was the cause of their error. What??? Multiple things confirm it WAS their error.
*Update after MNRC reply: I feel their response proves my point exactly. Still claiming it's not their error. And, yes, of course...
