Our daughter, Lila, has been attending the Montessori Educational Center for a little over a year now. She loves going to school every morning and comes home each evening happy and talking about her daily experiences. The teachers and staff are all very professional and the communication is outstanding. Lila has learned so much since she started, both academically and socially.
It was a number one priority for my husband and I to feel comfortable with who was caring for our daughter every day. We feel confident that MEC is the best fit for our family, and even though we have moved farther away from the center, we drive the extra miles because we are so pleased with the center. Read more >

We have been a Montessori family since 2012 and have three children in the House of Montessori currently. We can't say enough about the teachers and how much they care about the children. Our son has gone through all three classrooms (infant, toddler, and primary) and our daughters through infant and toddler. At each step the teachers take the time to understand and communicate with each child and communicate routinely and effectively with parents. Our kids love the teachers (they give heartfelt hugs every day) and the teachers reciprocate that feeling, even after they've moved onto another class.

Montessori has been so amazing for our daughter Porter! Ms. Jenni and Ms. Phoneice at the infant house were so loving and nurturing to her during our time there! The facilities are clean, organized and calming and the education and attention that our daughter received while enrolled played a huge role in her development. During the pandemic Montessori made sure to send out weekly music videos, and lesson plans so our sweet Pojo could benefit from Montessori even while home during quarantine. My experience with MEC was so enjoyable and went so smoothly in large part due to Amy Ekeler's efforts and guidance. Amy helped work through some unique questions and considerations for my family and made the process as enjoyable as it could possibly have been. She kept me informed with all of the moving parts and changes due to the pandemic situation and gave space where we needed it. She was always very attentive without over-communicating. Since my daughter was 18 months (now 5 years) she has been with The Curious Child Montessori Preschool in La Vista. She has learned so much at the school about taking care of herself all while being challenged to the level she needed at the time. My favorite part about the school though were the teachers. They truly go all out for the children they teach and many of the teachers feel like family now. They make my babies feel safe and loved all while giving them exceptional care, and that’s everything I wanted in a care facility and more. I can’t thank these women enough for all they do for my babies. After I had my son in 2018 he also started at the school and has also loved all the teachers there. I highly recommend this school to anyone and everyone looking for an incredible child care facility. Read more >
