This was my first home purchase so I went into this with very little knowledge on what to expect. So naturally getting rehab work done on my house was an intimidating process.

Right off the bat, we were in communication with each other and things were making great progress. My general contractor, Sully was attentive to what I wanted to get done and we got the ball rolling.

We ran into typical issues one would expect during a house rehab and were able to traverse them fine. Whenever a problem came up, Sully would give me a ring and we'd discuss how to proceed.

However an issue occured that put the brakes on the rehab. Something that had nothing to do with Matrix but it took over a month to get the city to address it.

I hired this company to do a large renovation for my house almost 3 years ago. There has been problems ever since. The siding on the side of the house has a space where it meets the roof. The flat part of my roof was not done and has been leaking. I reached out to them multiple times and they would send someone out to "fix" it but all they did was patch it. I had an actual roofer look at it and he stated the roof was never new to begin with and has just been patched up a bunch of times. I would never hire this company and hopefully this review stops someone else from making an extremely costly mistake like I did. Read more >

DO NOT be fooled by the fake 5 star reviews. The company switches their name to avoid reviews from the people they majorly screw over. These people are straight up criminal. They will lie and they do TERRIBLE work. We used them to rennovate a house and the work they provided is just pathetic. It has been less than 2 years and things are just falling off of our house. The roof they supposedly fixed is leaking and we have had to have multiple contractors come in and repair the pretty much criminal work they provided with their very very sad crews that they sub work out to. This has cost an additional 5K easily. I am not the type to leave negative reviews, but I have seen my wife in tears too many times over this. They did a number of things incorrectly that had to be redone, some at my expense. The most recent discovery was a toilet they installed wrong (tiled over flange) which resulted in leaking onto the ceiling in the room below. Read more >
