I’m receiving emails about appointments I have not scheduled. I have called and asked to be removed from their list of customers. This appears to be a scam to try to show up and bill you for an appointment you didn’t make. I’m not on any scheduled programs for routine maintenance. I want the forced appointments to stop.

I used Master Services to inspect my chimney. My house is older and the fireplace has been nonfunctional for at least a decade so my plan was to assess what repairs needed to be completed before getting a fireplace insert. I found the inspection to be very thorough and I appreciated the photos and report style. For this part, I would rank them at 4 stars as it was a very thorough inspection and a very nice report.

However I had significant concerns regarding the quote and how the quote was presented. As I read through the other glowing reviews for this company, I am disappointed my experience was not as positive. To give the benefit of the doubt, perhaps there was a miscommunication at some point. We went through the list of issues on the inspection and I was given a work quote for $21K. The technicians installing new fireplace doors were attentive to detail and made sure fit was perfect. We received a nice looking product with great workmanship.

Charged me $120. They tried to sell me services I believe I did not need. I would NOT recommend this company.

Had them come out to give an estimate on replacing three chimney caps, and received the estimate in a reasonable time. Later when I called to schedule the job, I was told a manager would call me to discuss. Waited several days with no return call. Repeated this process three more times, then was told they were going to "pass" on the job with no explanation. Wasted several weeks, only to be left high and dry, with no resolution and back at square one. The woman answering their phone was very rude and unprofessional on four occasions.

Found this company through a trusted friend's referral and would also recommend them to others. Cody did a great job educating me on my options for problem - wasps hibernating in my chimney annually and coming into the house.

Mark was great! He cleaned our dirty chimney without leaving a spec of dirt.
