My son loves his mini musketeer classes here! He comes home teaching my husband and I his moves and I can see his confidence growing each time. The coaches are fantastic and I love how easy they make it for the young kids and families to make sure that they are really committed to the sport before buying all the expensive equipment, etc.

I’m brand new to this and it is exciting to fence! I felt a tiny bit frightened and extremely overwhelmingly happy the whole time - did four intro lessons and LOVED all the instructors. The only reason this isn’t five stars is that you can’t keep borrowing the club equipment. I would give five stars (and keep going!) if there was equipment to borrow and you didnt feel embarrassed to borrow it. Fencing is TERRIFIC — and if you have a kid this place is AMAZING with kids (im not a kid, far from it LOL)

Manhattan Fencing Center is a great place to train, especially if you're into sabre. There are lots of pistes, so it rarely feels too crowded, even when it’s busy.

The coaches are very good — many of them are Russian with high-level experience, and they really know how to help students improve. There are also a lot of sabre fencers here, especially young competitive ones, so you always have people to train with.

The atmosphere is serious but friendly. Overall, a great spot whether you're new to fencing or looking to compete at a higher level.

Positive experience - they teach with passion and the right amount of encouragement. My daughter loves it.
