Bill states that his AGGA / ARA appliance grows bone. However, he is unable to provide any evidence to support this. His appliance actually tips teeth OUT of alveolar bone, leading to tremendous dental harm, such as root resorption and alveolar resorption. Many people in this appliance end up experiencing horrific problems, such as gum recession, loose teeth, and even tooth loss. I know of at least one person who has resorption so severe, her bone won't even support implants, and she will require dentures. If anyone is curious as to how this appliance really works, versus what it claims to do, please consider watching this video by an actual orthodontist, who explains it clearly.

Just wanted to give a special shout out to Dr Schmidt with Lake Forest Smiles and Dr Konig of Konig Center for Cosmetic and Comprehensive Dentistry! Both phenomenal dentists that have so much knowledge about tmd and my jaw. I’m a very complicated case and both doctors know exactly how to get my jaw under control! I needed a repair for my lower orthotic and Dr Schmidt and his staff spent so much time with me. These doctors take the time to know me and know my bite. They truly understand what’s going on with my jaw and how the littlest change can set it off. I won’t just let anyone touch my bite but these doctors know what they’re doing and their extensive knowledge and expertise with LVI training helps me so much! I appreciate their dedication to this field, and forever grateful for the control I’ve gotten with my jaw from them!

LVI is a great place to learn advanced concepts in cosmetic dentistry including full mouth rehabilitation, as well as how to properly manage and help patients suffering from a myriad of symptoms related to TMJ/OSA. Physiologic based dentistry is powerful, and has positively affected many thousands of lives. I recently attended OMD & Myofunctional Therapy and it was the perfect solution to tie in all the TMJ courses and physiologic dentistry courses at LVI. Dr. Heidi Dickerson & Jill Taylor taught anatomy, skills, & exercises that will better treat the undiagnosed problem in our cases that pertain to the tongue, lips, & jaws and their relation to all other orofacial structures. Another piece to the puzzle!

I am very concerned about the 'headache' cure promoted by LVI- if the program is associated with a large dental lab that makes more money from a full mouth of crowns it's no surprise dentists following the LVI protocols will be inclined to error on the side of over-treatment when less risky choices are available. 'Instant orthodontics' with veneers was another fad that was over used. Continuing education in dentistry can lead to harmful consequences.

One of their "certified" dentists butchered my mouth with their "bright smiles" procedure. One half of my teeth are taller than the other half. Bottom teeth are off center from the top. They left me with front teeth bucked so bad it's not comfortable to ever close my mouse. Two of the crowns had tips crumble within 3 months. Several of the crowns came off multiple times. He referred me to another dentist for a root canal right after he was done and they drilled the wrong tooth. Don't think a LVI certificate on a dentist's wall means anything. They can still be completely incompetent and apparently LVI doesn't review their work AT ALL after certifying them.
