I got to visit this facility a couple of months ago and met several of the people working there. Not having experience in this field I was blown away. I’m just a mother and grandmother. I got to see first hand the dedication and love that the kids receive here. I met people that are new in the field learning how to gain experience and also experienced nurses and leadership who were beyond dedicated to success. My heart goes out to families that struggle and to the staff that work on helping glue pieces back together. I pray that more facilities like lotus exist and that kids and their families understand that there is hope. I hope to visit again someday and get involved. Read more >

My son was in a very dark place, battling alcohol and drug abuse for months with no end in sight. He finally agreed to inpatient residential treatment and moved into Lotus Behavioral Health in April. He was treated with love and respect, got the treatment he needed, and came home a week ago after 51 days. As he left, he told us "I'm really going to miss this place." Your children are nurtured here, but also held accountable. They do school work, chores, make their beds, and address the hard issues that caused their addictions. They learn new habits and hobbies, like painting, playing basketball, reading and journaling. They involve the entire family in treatment as well with visitation, scheduled outings, and family therapy. My son and our entire family are in SUCH a better head space now, and I credit so much of that to the staff at Lotus Behavioral Health. Read more >

As hard as it was to be away from my son, Lotus saved his life. Michele is one of the most AMAZING human beings I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. I don’t think either of us would have made it through without her guidance and advocacy. Vanessa was wonderful as was the nursing staff! Turning your child over to a RTC is one of the hardest decisions you will make. There are so many horror stories out there, it will give any parent nightmares. There were so many times I had to fight the urge to go rushing in and bring my son home. After 74 days, he finally successfully completed the program! His entire personality and demeanor are so positive now! I am so proud of him for all the work he did while he was in there! More importantly, he is proud of himself! If your child needs residential treatment do not hesitate to send them to Lotus. We could not be happier with the facilities and staff. They genuinely care about these kids and their families. Many of them shed tears on my daughter’s discharge day, and my daughter was happy to go home but sad to leave her favorite people. Michelle and Leslie made the admissions process so easy, Sarah K is a phenomenal therapist, and special shout outs to Seren, Datra, and Carly.
