I can’t say enough good things about Little Sunshine Academy! This preschool/daycare has been an absolutely fantastic experience for my child. Open from 6 am to 6 pm Monday through Friday all year round, it provides the perfect schedule for a hardworking single mom like myself.
Security is top-notch, giving me peace of mind every day. The facility is equipped with a secure entry and vigilant staff who ensure the safety of every child.
One of the standout features is their fantastic app, where teachers send photos and updates throughout the day. It’s wonderful to stay connected and see what the kiddos are up to, making me feel even more involved in their daily activities. Plus, it’s proof that my kid is actually doing more than just finger-painting blobs.

I like Little Sunshine Academy-Winterville. My son has had a great experience. His teachers, Ms. Karmen and Ms. Nesha are very nurturing and patient with my son as well as all the other children. They communicate with parents in a respectful and courteous manner. These two teachers also update you on progress that your child is making in the classroom as well as any skills that you can reinforce at home. I recommend this childcare facility to anyone in the area who is in need of childcare. The only suggestion I would make is to maybe post the menu for what the children will eat weekly or make copies and give to parents. Thank you! Read more >
