Where and how do I begin to tell you the magnificent experience this has been. I had been doing research for about 6 months and then I found Dr. Illan! Even though I was still nervous and anxious the moment he walked in the room to talk to me all that nervousness went out the window! He has such a soothing calm voice and extremely patient! Took the time to listen and answer all my questions and concerns. The state of the art facilities, cleanliness in the entire facility definitely exceeded my expectations. 10/13/22 I made the best decision ever!I wanted to take a minute to tell you what an amazing facility hospital BC has been for me. The doctors and staff have provided with the best professional care.
I came from USA to hospital B C to do my Gastro sleeve surgery. I was nervous because it was a country that I wasn’t familiar with and I was traveling solo!but as soon as I step off the plane I met part of the staff and there were so friendly and welcoming,Especially Beto bahena,I am so grateful for him thank you Beto. the staff was amazing they were so friendly, loving, and caring they treated me like family. With anything that I needed they were right there help.

When the states would not help me I started looking for a surgeon in Mexico. Found Dr Illian at hospital BC and thought it was to good to be true, not one negative review. I found the Facebook group and again found nothing but good reviews about him and his team. I have never had a better medical experience in my life, from the beginning they have answered every single question I have had, worked around any obstacles that came up, have explained what would be done and it has exceeded my expectations! Beto has been “my guy” here always checking to make sure I had everything I needed as well as let me talk through my fears to make me feel safe and comfortable. I highly recommend Dr Illian and his team for your surgery, they truly want to support you for a better healthier life!

Just had my gastric sleeve on Monday October 10th, 2022 the first day was rough after surgery some pain and my blood pressure was high but that's too be expected it went down as the days went by. I was also a bit nervous cause I was coming here by myself with no companion and know very little Spanish but I was met with the wonderful staff who made me feel welcome! Dr. Illan I met once before surgery was very friendly wish I could interact with him more but he knows what he's doing! Then we had the wonderful attentive care of the nurses Aime and Esmeralda. And the drivers who do more than just drive they are your support team and make you feel a home away from home! Beto and Fred! And Flor is the nutritionists she comes in and gives a thorough run through of what you're diet is supposed to look like for the next 8 to 10 weeks post surgery.
