Hospital BC

After lots of research, I decided on Hospital BC to get the VSG surgery. Everyone from my coordinator Paulina, to nutritionist Flor, to the valets Robert, Beto, and Fred, have been AMAZING. This was my first major surgery and first time traveling out of the country without family. They took care of me, made sure I was okay. Dr. Jalil introduced himself to me along with the anesthesiologist before surgery and made me feel confident. Pre op and post op care has been fantastic. It really feels like they care. My friend came with me as a companion and she’s ready to book her surgery here, too. Would recommend this place to anybody thinking about getting weight loss surgery.

My experience has been wonderful! The valets have been great!! Nothing is perfect but they make up for it in personal attention. Ask for it asked they'll make it happen.
My gastric sleeve surgery with Dr. Illan was painless....yes, painless. The recovery was quick and the dietician was very thorough.

The experience so far is very good.
The surgeon was nice and open to answer questions him and the anesthesiologist before the surgery.
The hospital is clean and every one is nice starting with reception team , ambassadors ( Joe and Beto) , nursing staff , nutritionist and the on call doctors all were extremely helpful and keep checking on the patient during the hospital stay.
Strongly recommended place for bariatric surgery.

Great experience. The staff was amazing! Beto and Joe and all the Valets were extremely friendly and helpful. The entire staff was very accommodating. Dr. Illan was very informative and did a great job.

I had a great experience here!! The staff was amazing especially Beto, Jo and the nurses as well as Dr Illan. I definitely will recommend to family and friends. Overall nice environment everyone was friendly and happy to help.

So much to say! Let me just start off by saying I did months of research looking for the perfect doctor. I came across Dr. Jalil Illan Fraijo and did extreme researching and found that everything he explains and all the wonderful reviews were what sold me. Ive been scared for the simple fact I’ve never had surgery in my life and especially never been to Tijuana either. Let me just say put your mind and heart at ease when picking hospital BC. They have been wonderful since the moment I made the first email and talked to them, the coordinator Alex. The beginning drive here our valet Roberto. The front office lady’s, all the nurses Kelly and Esmeralda, the late night nurses I wish I remembered his name so many names to remember cause they all been great! and the doctors. Beto our personal butler it he makes it feel like, he’s absolutely awesome and funny. Keeping my fiancé entertained....

Very happy with my overall experience with the hospital and staff. Doctors, nurses, front staff and all the valet staff I wish o knew everyone name but one was Beto he was kinda and helpful.

This was a great experience! Everyone was very kind and accommodating. This was my first ever surgery and I was a little freaked out but everyone here calmed my anxiety!! All of the nurses and doctors explained everything that was going on in full detail and eased my over thinking mind. Fred, Beto and Joey (or Joe?) were amazing! Joey kept me motivated to keep walking and Fred was so kind and thoughtful! Beto was the lucky one to take me to the OR and I was crying but he soothed the anxiety! Very thankful I had such a good experience and I would highly recommend this hospital to anyone that is considering weight loss surgery.

The only thing that could be better was the cot that they have in the room for the companions! It would be comfortable for maybe a 10 year old child. So it would have been nice to have my boyfriend be comfortable as well but he was a trooper!
