the facility is wonderful. clean and stylish. every single one of the staff left an amazing impression on me. they are all so gentle and caring and kind. i was treated with the utmost care. i would recommend this facility to anyone i knew and loved. so impressed.

Man , what can i say. I’m a travel RN and have been many hospitals but this is one of the cleanest hospitals I’ve been . Very spacious with 24/7 assistance. Beto and Kelly were a lot of help to me . I’m so proud be be able to say I was here and know I will always be in good hands. Thanks guys

Everyone here has been the kindest here. I was so afraid to come here alone to get my procedure done, but the worry was for naught. First, Roberto who picked me up and brought me across the border was super personable and quite the conversationalist. Thenat the hospital everyone was super accommodating. Fred and Beto have been simply the best. They help take care of you like nurses assistants and all of your needs are fully taken care of. As expected from any procedure, you'll hurt and feel weak, but you have an amazing supportive team here to help you along the way, and make sure your stay and your health are at their best. Highly highly recommended!

10 out of 10 would definitely recommend Hospital BC for any bariatric surgeries. The staff is very friendly and takes very good care of their patients. They are a bilingual hospital which makes it much easier to communicate. I did not have to worry about anything once I got here.

I don’t know why I didn’t do this sooner. The fact is I didn’t know about this hospital until a friend told me. It is everything I have read about. And I cannot say enough praises for the drivers, the valet, the housekeeping and all the nurses and doctors. Shout out to Fred and Beto who were always there to get me I needed !!!

I traveled alone for a sleeve gastrectomy. From my very first intro to my driver Luis, my experience was exceptional. I felt very safe. The hotel is in the financial district of TJ and right across from a modern mall. I walked around the day before my surgery feeling totally safe. The hotel was nice. When picked up to go to the hospital, our valet was exceptional. There were 6 other ladies having surgery. We were able to visit while we did our preop, which went smoothly. There was great communication from dr Illan, the anesthesiologist, the cardiologist, etc. the procedure was over before I knew it. My after care was phenomenal, they were always ready to help quickly. Joe the valet was my favorite. He was very encouraging and kept the humor going while we walked off our gas! I have had no complications and would return to hospital bc without the slightest worry if ever...

My mom and I arrived at hospital bc Monday July 18th, we were transported from our hotel in San Diego by Roberto, who is very kind. Upon arriving we had our pre op tests done that took no time at all. After that we went to our room and got ready for surgery. We both had the vertical sleeve gastrecrtomy. Surgery went very smoothly, no complications. Recovery has been okay. Little gas pains but that’s about it. The entire staff has been wonderful. I highly recommend hospital bc for your bariatric surgery needs.

Hospital BC is the best! Dr. Illan and his staff are wonderful! The hospital is clean, comfortable and the staff treat you with so much respect. I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone thinking of joining the Dr. Illan and Hopsital BC family.
