Very pleasant experience. I was very nervous when coming here to get my surgery done but the staff were all so very kind and attentive. They answered all my unspoken questions and were diligent in my comfort and care. Dr. Ilian himself came to my room prior to the surgery and spoke with me and my husband about what to expect and how the surgery would go. After my surgery he came directly to my husband and let him know how everything went. Berto was extremely helpful too, giving me tips and suggestions on where to walk and what things I could do afterward. I would strongly suggest hospital BC to anyone wishing to undergo any bariatric surgeries. Wonderful staff all the way around.

I had the best experience here at Hospital BC. If you are considering bariatric surgery then I highly suggest Dr. Illan and team. Dr. Illan answered all my questions and made me feel more than confident to have a MGB done. Jaziel was such a personable driver who made us feel comfortable and made our journey across the border easy. Beto is by far one of the best people to have in the hospital who will make you feel right at home and take of all your needs. Flor, the nutritionist has been absolutely wonderful. There are so many more people I want to mention, but it's easier to say that this is the best team. I would recommend all my friends and family.

My experience here was awesome! I was here 4 years ago and enjoyed the experience so much I came back again. Beto was amazing and took such good care of my husband and I. The doctors and nurses were very helpful and knowledgeable we had excellent care I would recommend this hospital to anyone!

Coming back has been like going home ❤️ I started my health journey in 2019 and one of the tools that I added was the bariatric sleeve procedure. Then my husband, son, daughter and friend decided it was a great option for them as well. So in total, I've been at Hospital BC six times!!
After having multiple Health issues (broken knee cap, torn rotator cuff and my newest being fracturing my L3) continuing to train and maintain my weight loss has been impossible.
Contacting Dr Illan and be able to discuss with him all the benefits of having a mini bypass done and the metabolic shift that it creates, i decided to come back.
Our future depends on our health!!

My life changes journey started when I reached out to contacts Dr Jillian and my coordinator Carlos reached out to me with questions and answers and guidance through the way and means to got about the whole process. I was so nervous when I landed at the San Diego airport but when Sal picked me up he calm me down and the welcome in the hospital BC made me feel so good. Beto treated me like a sister every minute and every hour he will come and check on me to tend to my needs. Kudus to all the staffs from the Doctors, nurses, nutritionists theatre staffs , house keepers phlebotomy etc. Special thanks goes to BETO and SAL . I will recommend people to come to Hospital BC for surgery and beyond because their staffs are amazing and the hospital is so clean and is incredible

Honestly this place was a very present surprise. Very personal with the staff. Staff to patient ratio is much better than the U.S. Small personal hospital with only 2 patients on my floor. And all times I saw 3-6 doctors and nurses. Beto was awesome with any of my needs including putting my pop sickles in the freezer. And grabbing me one anytime I needed. Lol. Henry was great in the coordinating of this life changing venture. Everybody from the surgeon to the nutritionist. Was a very personal experience.
I was pleased to know that my surgeon only had 2 surgeries scheduled on my day. When a US doctor may do 7 or 15. I would highly recommend this Hospital and Staff to anybody considering bariatric surgery. And or plastics.

The hospital and staff have been amazing. Couldn't have asked for a better place to have done my surgery. I had a revision, and Dr. Ilian was beyond amazing. His staff, Doctor Flores, staff Beto the nurse Jaz I and there's many more that I cannot remember their names, but I would give this place a recommendation beyond amazing. If anyone should need any kind of bariatric surgery, revision of any kind for a prior bariatric, I recommend doctor Ilian and his staff.
