Wow!! That about sums up my stay here. Never did I think I would be coming down to Tijuana to have this done, yet here I am. I can't say enough about this Hospital BC, Dr. Illan, and his staff. It's a small, private hospital so the care you get as a patient is unlike no other. Henry Cortez (a liaison of sorts between the hospital and patients) did an amazing job of answering my wife's endless questions to where I was able to book the procedure. Most of the staff is bilingual, so it was fairly easy to communicate with them. Our driver, Jaziel, picked us up in San Diego and right away put us at ease. Once we got to the hospital, we were greeted by Sara, the very friendly receptionist. Henry met us there as well to make sure we were good to go and answer any other last minute questions. Dr. Illan and his anesthesiologist explained the procedure and what would be taking place....

This was the best experience I have ever had in a hospital setting. From our driver/caregiver Beto being nothing short of amazing, to the receptionist, to all the nursing staff making sure all my needs were taken care of. The biggest thanks go to Dr.Illan. Answers all my questions and made me so comfortable. The anesthesiologist also was very thorough with the whole process. This was the best choice I’ve ever made for my health.

This was an Amazing experience. Very clean and professional staff get ready Jazz is going to make you laugh. I have never meet such a down to earth Doctor like Dr.Jalil Illan. Yani is so sweet. Diago awesome nurse. Beto took good care of me can't complain. Love these guys. Please do yourself a favor and come to the professionals.

Highly recommend Hospital BC one of the best hospitals for biatric surgery. I first came here back in 2021 to get my gastric sleeve and lost 100 lbs. I am back this time around 12/26/2024 for a mini gastric bypass to better my heart health & lung health and most definetly I trust Dr. Illan to do this surgery. I highly recommend it once again you won't regret it, remember there is no price to a healthy, medication free life style.

Making this decision was not easy at first, but from the moment I arrived at the hospital, I felt nothing but warmth, professionalism, and genuine care.
