I recently had the privilege of undergoing a medical procedure at Hospital BC in Tijuana, Mexico, and I cannot express enough how impressed I was with the top-notch service and care provided by the staff. As an American citizen, I admit I was initially skeptical about having surgery outside the country. This is my second time to Hospital BC. 1st in 2021 for a sleeve, and just this week for a revision to an MBG after some reflux issues and a “nip tuck” of my original weight loss procedure.
With the sleeve I lost 70 lbs. Hopefully more this time around to get to my goal weight, GERD free!

My experience here, both in 2021 and 2024, have been nothing but exceptional. Hospital BC, Dr. Illian, the valets - Sal, Beto, Fred, and the exceptional nurses and Dr. care have changed my perspective on medical tourism forever. I cannot say enough good things about this specific hospital and staff.

Hospital BC was hands down the best experience at a hospital I've ever had. Dr. Jalil Illan my surgeon was amazing! His staff all the nurses and doctors who took care of me post op were so wonderful,nice, and on top of all my needs! Beto our personal help was so wonderful I wish I could take him back to the states to have him show some people what real hospitality is! Our driver Sal is so nice and very fun to talk to!
