Founded in 1988 by Diane Havens, a former PE teacher, hence our mission, Learning to Play, and Playing to Learn. We are a Texas Rising Star Quality rated program, accepting infants through school-agers. Our pre-school and school-aged camps are the best around. As part of our program, our children receive both Kindermusik classes, as well as motor development/gymnastics. We offer community classes and birthday parties as well.

We hosted my daughter Palmer’s 4th birthday party at Kids in Action, and I truly cannot say enough amazing things about our experience.

Mrs. Brittany, our host, along with her three incredible crew members, went above and beyond from start to finish. From unloading my car, helping set up all of my food and décor, to cleaning everything up and reloading my car at the end, it was absolute top-tier service and such a gift for a parent hosting a party.

They listened carefully to my daughter’s theme and tailored the games to match it perfectly. Every activity was so fun, thoughtful, and age-appropriate. The kids had an absolute blast the entire time. The staff was kind, energetic, patient, and genuinely cared about making the day special.

They have so many things for the kids to do. Two gyms with lots of different activities, a playground, a pool, and much more. The kids have loved KIA since the beginning and they have been a great place for the kids to spend time before and after school.

Our family absolutely loves Kids in Action! We originally chose them for the convenience, but we’ve stayed because of the incredible staff and the loving, family-like environment they provide. From day one, it’s been clear how much care and attention they give to each child, and that peace of mind means everything to us as parents.

Our daughter is excited to go to school every day and is always happy and engaged while she’s there. We love seeing her participate in hands-on activities like color sorting and learning numbers, and it’s obvious she’s in a place where she feels safe, loved, and encouraged to grow.

We are so grateful to be part of the Kids in Action family and would highly recommend them to any parent looking for a daycare that truly cares about their children. 💛

Great experience, my son is in the after school program. My son is always happy to attend, really like they have many actives to keep a rambunctious 4 year old busy. The staff is very warm/welcoming.
