Kadima Healthcare Group

When I first started working here there was some things that needed to be adjusted, Now with new management and changes things are actually very much better, scheduling is flexible, and they work with you. Residents are sweet as pie and get lots of attention. I have grown to like the facility and work my way up the ladder. I recently got a promotion to Transportation Coordinator and it is such a great Experience so far, and love the one on one time with the residents. Yes places have flaws but that is everywhere and there is always room for improvement.

I love my aides Heidi, Jodie & Jaimee, and nurses, they treat me with great respect and helpful. The facility is very clean. The kitchen staff and food is awesome, they give me extra or change my meal when I want. I get regular showers and haircuts. The experience here so far is beyond expectations.

I will soon be employed by Kadima at Luzerne for 3 years. I am currently in the activities department. Working with the residents has become so much more than just a job. I enjoy every day I spend with them. Kadima at Luzerne is a smaller nursing home which allows the residents and staff to build closer relationships. I feel we are one big family who all have the same goals in mind, which is keeping our residents safe, cared for, treated with respect and entertained every day.

Would give it 5 stars but they are horrible at answering their phones.

We were overwhelmed, scared, had lots of questions about putting our mom in a nursing home but we could not care for her with her current health condition that rapidly declined after Covid. The nursing staff, CNA’s, and physical therapy have been amazing! Everyone we have encountered here I feel has gone above and beyond to help with my moms needs and also keeping us informed with everything. They help us keep in contact with her because it is difficult for her to answer her phone. These are just some really crazy times right now and we are confident that we have made the right decision! They have all been wonderfully amazing and we are forever grateful...

Alicia is the social worker here, she goes above and beyond her job scope, she worked with me on her days off and after hours, she does her job in a superior manner, with empathy and care! Thanks Alicia for all your hard work to help my mom! All of these 5 stars are for you! Kadima is lucky to have you!
