Kadima at Luzerne is an amazing place. They have helped me achieve so many goals in my career. Being employed by Kadima is such a fulfilling and heartwarming experience. The way Kadima treats it's residents is absolutely wonderful and I am very proud to be a part of its caring and compassionate team.^ I wrote this review three years ago, and want to give an update on how far we have come. I have been the CDM for Kadima for a little over 3 years now. I have worked in a dietary setting in long term care for over 15 years. Providing residents with nutritious meals and honoring all of their preferences is my passion. No matter how much we may think we know best, we have to remember our residents have the right to refuse any aspect of care including any diet a physician may prescribe them. At the end of the day our residents well being and happiness matter most and that is what we strive...

Our DON, Tracy, is a huge asset to our nursing team. I appreciate the time and effort the recruitment team took to find the right DON for the job versus just filling the role with anyone. Sometimes it takes more than one try to find the BEST! Our Environmental Services Director has worked around the clock to create a clean and homelike environment for the residents, which shows if you just ask for a tour. The culinary manager has over 15 years of experience in long term care dietary operations. There are heart healthy and consistent carbohydrate diets, as well as snacks that meet the resident's dietary needs, available to residents of the facility 24/7. Kadima prides itself on honoring the resident's right to choose what they would like to consume and how to spend their time. Kadima at Luzerne is well-managed, clean, and has an exceptional staff that is very caring towards each resident. The administrator holds staff to a higher level to provide the best care.

I've been working at Kadima for over 4 years. I am currently the Director of Activities and I love my job. The staff and residents are like one big family. We are a smaller facility which allows us to work together to provide excellent care and meet the needs of our residents.

I have been with Kadima over 2 years now. Kadima treats residents with respect and dignity. We all do out part to make sure all of our residents needs are met. Kadima is our residents home and staff go above and beyond to make sure residents feel like they are home. If I ever had a need, I would not hesitate to have my family members stay here.

I've been here for close to a year as an environmental service worker and this place is amazing. Amazing coworkers and administration team. Best part of working here is the interactions with the residents. Making them joyful with a small but pleasant conversation makes everything better.

Great place to be, staff is very nice. Very busy all the time. Making sure all residents are doing well everyday and they make all staff little snacks in the break room!

10/10 nursing home, all the staff is very friendly.
