Best school in happy valley! Amazing teachers and staff!

I was very hesitant to start a day care with the pandemic and the fact that my child has multiple life threatening food allergies. This school was so attentive to our needs, so quick to alert us of any medical concerns and gave us peace of mind when knowing she was safe. The teachers/staff are all so sweet & caring! Our child has learned so much and has become much more independent. We loves the daily pictures and updates throughout the day as well! We are so sad to be leaving Goddard and appreciate everything!

My little man goes to the Goddard School and he absolutely loves it! Most days when I pick him up he’s begging to go back inside and stay longer! It’s his first year in a daycare setting and as an only child it’s been hard to adjust to sharing and working out friend problems, but the school and the teachers have been AMAZING and really helped him through it! I would highly recommend!!

The staff is all amazing, so kind, friendly and welcoming! My daughter absolutely loves going to school everyday and is so excited to tell me about her day when she gets home! They make learning fun and enjoyable and truly care about the children, so happy to have our kiddo going here!

My son started at Goddard at age 2 and went up until he went to Kindergarten, then returned the summer before first grade. He always had fun, he always had great teachers, and I always felt that he was well cared for and safe. I would highly recommend to anyone seeking a reliable, fun, clean environment for their kiddos! We will probably be back next summer. :)

After several years working in the field of early childhood education, I joined Goddard in 2014 as a teacher. I enjoyed working with the children & families, my coworkers, and particularly the willingness and guidance I received from the administration to make my classroom my own.

During my time at Goddard, I had two sons and was lucky enough to bring them to work with me! My oldest son made his way through the entire program before we moved away this summer. The play based, but goal driven curriculum at Goddard was the perfect fit for him. As a long time educator, I know that children learn best through play, but to see the results from a parent’s side has been incredible. My daughter went to The Goddard School from age 2 through 5 and I am so thankful that she did! While she was there she had so much fun learning through play. I loved that the teachers were so focused on helping her be successful as she grew up and moved on to new classrooms. The teachers and staff were family to us and I could tell how much they cared for her by the way she spoke about them.

Every day I received a daily report of what activities she did and we reinforced those learning points at home too. I also LOVED that her teachers sent me photos throughout the day!

She was so prepared for Kindergarten when the time came for her to leave. Her kindergarten teacher mentioned that her social skills were way above many other new students her age. She was able to follow directions, complete simple tasks, etc. I know it was because those behaviors were learned...

I 100% recommend this school! I’m a first time mom and was probably the most skeptical and scared mom on the planet, but everyone here kept my mind at ease when my son started. I never have to worry when he’s there as I know the teachers are very professional and attentive with the kids! They offer so many learning activities and within a couple of weeks, my 1 year old started talking SO much more than before! After much research on other schools in the area, I’m more than happy with my choice!

We love The Goddard School! Our daughter went there from the age of 2.5 to 5.5 and has grown SO much from being there. Our son, who is almost 3, is still there (he started at just 3 months old.) The staff are very involved, attentive to the children, and love what they do. We could not be happier with Goddard School and feel that our kids are in the best environment possible while we are working.
