Dr. Denisse Serrano of Juva Skin & Laser permanently scarred me for life.

I had been experiencing breakout/rash on my chest so went to the Juva to have a dr check it out. I explained to Denisse that my skin was sensitive to biopsies and scars easily. However she decided to move forward with a biopsy from my chest. To my horror, she took a significant chunk of skin from the dead center of my décolletage. This shocked me as there were other less obvious areas of the rash she could have sampled from.

Sure enough, the biopsy turned into a eraser-sized pure white circle in the center of my chest (neckline level) that stands out very obviously from my natural skin tone. This is something i have to look at in the mirror with insecurity and frustration ever single day.

To make matters worse, Denisse had prescribed a topical steroid ream for the rash....

I had a procedure done last year at the Manhattan office. My insurance denied the claim and also the appeals that was handled by my in network lab. After a year of back and forth with the ins and the lab as a final option I reached out to JUVA Skin where Tatiana was very understanding and above and beyond helpful assisting me to solve the issue. Their assistance meant the world to me after stressing over a bill I was originally told will be covered by the ins.

I saw her for the first time in June for under-eye rejuvenation with filler, and she really did an amazing job. I had to go back for a few sessions, spaced 2 weeks apart, to get the results I wanted but she was very thorough and always made me feel comfortable. She even check up on me through instagram dms after my appointment and answered some questions I had about after care. I have genetic under eye bags that I have been self conscious of for my whole life and she helped me to feel more confident. I can’t thank her enough for that!
