my wife and I purchased a female red puppy from them in april 2018, She had the head start training and we were very impressed with her.
at this moment she is with IPL getting futher training with Jay. he sends us videos and pictures along with updates on how she is doing weekly andalso called to give us an update at the end of the first month.
cant wait to get Charlee back the end of september.

they are really nice people and the paper work was smooth process. they also offer training for your puppy after you purchase your dog! I would go and buy my next puppy from them.

In the spring of 2016 I began the search for a new dog for our family. Our last lab had passed away in April and we were dog-less for the first time in 15 years. We were looking for something special and our list of requirements was starting to appear unrealistic, until I found Iowa Pointing Labs. I wanted a large bodies chocolate male who would point, retrieve and snuggle with the kids. Iowa Pointing Labs had the perfect dog! In November of 2016 my husband and I drove from Northern Michigan to Iowa to pick up Moose, our brand new headstart puppy. He is absolutely everything he was billed as. Mellow in the house, on fire in the field and a beast in the duck blind. I have owned labs all my life and never had such an easy pup to train as Buddy from IPL at 19 weeks old I have shot over 50 chuckars over him and is a hunting machine I am now training him on shed hunting and has found several sheds I could not be happier with this pup I have been offered twice what I have paid for him and would not sell him at any price I have done a ton of research before we went to IPL if you are in the market save yourself some time and give Tim a call you won't be disappointed they are very honest and good people

I picked up my pup Kenna from Tim two months ago she is now six months old and is the quickest learning dog I have ever trained. I guide pheasant hunts full time and dogs make or break a hunt and I recently started guiding with Kenna. At only six months old she is out hunting my three year old Brittany’s and has the same rock solid point. She is also a great house companion, I have seen a lot of hunting dogs in my life these are the best. Every puppy I get from here on out will be from Iowa Pointing Labs.

We received our IPL puppy yesterday. I cannot say enough about their Head Start program. When I picked up our puppy at the airport he was happy and playful. While waiting for IPL Milo, another puppy, (probably 8 weeks old), was also being delivered. That little puppy seemed so scared and timid I felt sorry for him. Leaving a puppy with his litter mates for a few extra weeks makes a world of difference in his confidence level and socialization skills. I highly recommend their Head Start program. Thank you to Tim, Staci,, Lauren, Paige and the entire IPL Staff for such a wonderful experience purchasing our new hunting partner and companion.
