Why I chose Hidden Fence over the competitor:
1. They offered a smart system and were honest about possible tech issues I might experience (although the app was updated just before I bought it and I have not had one issue with any of my three dogs).
2. The competitor was rude, arrogant and they are no longer a locally owned franchise. Their prices are too high and they do not offer “smart” technology – apparently, they are working on it.
3. The competitor focused on the putting down Hidden Fence, but Hidden Fence never once said anything negative about the competitor – that says a lot to someone’s character.

We purchased our Hidden Fence last Fall. The installer was friendly and helpful. We followed the instructions and within a week or two I was pretty confident the dog was going to respect the fence and stay in the yard. We live by a busy street, so I wanted to be 100% confident the dog would stay in our yard. I grabbed some of the dog’s favorite treats and tried to lure the dog into the street. I did this at various locations around the perimeter of our yard and the dog never attempted to leave the yard. Each time I rewarded the dog for staying in the yard. everything went very smooth. they answered all my questions instal was great you don't have to do anything. they spent time with me on how to use the system and with our dog.
