It was the Friday before Easter, 2019. I remember it as if it were yesterday. We had a houseguest who was sitting on the back porch reading when we heard this terrible crash. She came running into the house and said that a tree had fallen. There was a weather report that a terrible storm was heading up the east coast, but we had no weather as of that moment. Once we got over the shock of what had just occurred, we were on the phone with the insurance company and that’s when the rain started. Not only had the tree hit the house, it punctured the roof and water started coming into the living room area. We called everyone we could think of to get a referral and every one of the companies we called were on their way out of town for the holiday. We were getting a little anxious when we called Harper Special Services and spoke to Jason. His first question was “Is everyone ok?”...
