We had visited several dealerships before going to Hammonasset Ford. From the time we arrived, the experience was noticably different than the rest. The level of professionalism was refreshing.

The used car we purchased required attention to some minor details that were discovered only after the sale was completed (this was not the fault of the dealer). When these items were discovered, our salesman, Mike Timmons, expedited a quick resolution. Because the deal was done and the car was already paid for, they could have apologized for the inconvenience and sent us on our way. Instead, they addressed our request and didn't make excuses. This is a very professionally-operated dealership.

The Lincoln MKZ we purchased is a beautiful car, and we are extremely happy with it. I will make Hammonassett Ford my first stop the next time.

I stopped in a week ago because I saw a particular truck that interested me. This was a completely impulsive stop--I did not think I was in the market for purchasing a vehicle at this time--the truck simply caught my eye as I was driving by. CherylAnn came out and literally hung out with me and we chatted it up about the truck and a few other possibilities. CherylAnn provided me CarFax reports (without even requesting them) and offered her schedule if I ever wanted to have a further discussion. Without feeling any pressure whatsoever, I left the dealership considering that I might seriously consider getting a new vehicle. Over the next two days, I perused their web site and found a couple of other models that interested me in the same price range. My experience at Hammonasset was great! I have always been a Chevy guy, but after having an F-150 as a rental for four days I decided it would be my next truck. I had been searching for a new 2013 F-150 FX4 and to my surprise many dealers were not very helpful. I found this odd since I immediately told them I was looking for a new truck. I think many dealers assumed I was just another guy looking to drive a few trucks, price them out, never buy anything, and simply waste their time.

From the first phone call with Cherylann, I was treated kindly, professionally, and honestly. Both Cherylann and Guy were very friendly and professional, and even made my 4 year old daughter feel welcome and comfortable. They were efficient in every action, completely alleviating any stress I might have had about the process of buying a new car.

Excellent. Cheryl Ann Wombalt was very knowledgeable and friendly. (Even if she is from East Haven... inside joke) She and her team worked with us to make the process as painless as possible. (not as bad as a root canal... ) Of course, there was some give and take.. as expected .. in the price and the financing but overall, one of the best dealership car buying experiences I have had in my 46 years of owning cars. The service offers was surprisingly good .. A pleasant departure from my only experience with them 20 years ago. Love the Flex ! Have not named it yet (its Sharon's job) but looking forward to years of driving pleasure...

Because we tried Hammonasset Ford to service our previous vehicle, and were impressed with their honesty, we decided also to inquire there to purchase our next vehicle. It was a very relaxed experience, unlike previous dealer purchases. Guy, the Finance Manager, was very thorough and efficient, providing three finance options with no additional hidden fees. Even the receptionist was helpful and pleasant. James, our Sales Consultant, was polite, professional, and affable. He takes the time to listen to you and to help you. It felt like a pleasant conversation, and not a pressured sale. In our 25 years of marriage, this is the first time we enjoyed meeting our sales associate.

Just picked up a new 350 Super Duty I ordered from the factory, truck is awesome, it's got everything I wanted.
