I bought my new Explorer last week and had nothing, but a pleasant experience. After having had gone to many dealerships, I went to Hammonasset as a last stitch effort before I threw in the towel on purchasing a new car. I was nothing, but pleased and gratefully pulled the trigger on a new car. Many thanks to my new friend CherylAnn who helped navigate this process for me. I’ve already spread the word, and will choose Hammonasset Ford time and time again!

Wouldn’t recommend. They sent me a survey after my poor experience and then had nerve to email me validating themselves. I had my car towed to them after brake loss and they wouldn’t honor my warranty on a $38.00 brake line. Hammonasset wanted to charge me hundreds of dollars for a cheap part and 30 minutes of labor. Needless to say, I towed my car out of there! I refuse to give my business to a dealership that isn’t thinking of the customers best interest at all. Not to mention the honesty factor. There are way too many other dealerships and shops around.....go elsewhere!

I had a great experience. I walk in there to see what they had and to offer. In a couple of hours later I was driving out of the lot with my 2018 Ford Escape. Thanks to Cheryl Ann Wambolt who made sure that I got what I wanted and could afford it.

After visiting multiple dealerships over a couple of days, my final stop was at Hammonasset Ford. Mike really took his time to help me find the truck I wanted, and explained all the different options available to me. Before I drove home that day, Mike sat in the truck with me and explained all the different features and showed me how to use them all. This was the best car buying experience I have ever had, and I look forward to doing business with Mike and Hammonasset Ford again in the future.
