The service department is amazing! Patient, flexible, and understanding!

Traveling to Michigan the SCR stated “contaminated scr fluid. Will enter limp home” calling Hammonasset they have nobody to look at it for days. We are surrounded by ford dealers and none of them are able to keep us on the road. They seem to be overbooked which indicates they shouldn’t be selling more vehicles adding to the problem. My truck is a 2011 and I was on the fence between ford and GMC. Not any more…

The response with “thoughts and prayers” illustrates Hammonasset Ford does not grasp the problem. We are 1000 miles from home and they claim they have no capacity to read codes because they are swamped with oil changes and tire rotations. The fact is they do not prioritize appropriately. I’d call it taking the easy way out. Does not live up to FMC commitment to customer service nor reliability.

Hammonasset Ford is great. The people are friendly and knowledgeable. They treat customers with courtesy and respect. My sales consultant, CherylAnn Wambolt was informative and helpful. I never felt any sales pressure. She always returned my texts and calls in a very timely manner. I love my new Mustang.

Be careful bringing your auto for repairs. One, took over two months to get a refund on a part that was warranted on there end that was defective but tried to charge me again. Received refund less the sales tax which I have requested several weeks ago and have not received as of this date. Two. Front tire on the inside is wearing and front end is clunking on the same side. They are charging me a diagnostic charge saying there is no concern with the clunking or the premature wear on the tire. Funny thing is, this is a repeat on the same side that they replaced some parts for the same issue a few months ago. Two different vehicles with the same type of issues. Hence what is one to think? I truly did like the idea this dealership is close to home but in the long run and due to the stress I must visit another dealership for both of my fords.

My family has been buying vehicles and getting them serviced here for many years. It's always a pleasure and a comfortable experience doing business with Mike at Hammonasset and I will be sure to pass on the tradition for generations to come.

I was in contact with this dealership for about 1 month, as I wanted to purchase a Maverick Hybrid and they had one inbound. These have been hard to find. They called me and let me know the truck I wanted had arrived. I made an appointment to come take a look the next day. I left work early to make the 1 hour drive. When I arrived at the dealership I was told the truck had been sold the previous day. They never called to inform me. Fortunately they had another - a different color - but still acceptable. We took a test drive and the salesperson was helpful and not at all slick or ingratiating, which I appreciated. However, their initial offer was $4k over MSRP plus "fees" of over $1k, not broken out by line item. I made a counter offer of $1k over MSRP. The salesperson did the typical "my manager won't go for that", but I insisted. She then disappeared for 15...
