Southwest Oral Surgery

Ive been putting off my wisdom teeth surgery for almost a year, and had my dentists referal sitting on my desk since January, as I was nervous about having general anesthesia. Well broke a wisdom tooth Wednesday afternoon, and they were able to get me in 1st thing on Thursday morning! Dr. Olglander and the nurses were so nice and answered all questions. I have never been so impressed with a staff of professionals, " Anywhere " in any professional environment, as I was today at, Southwest Oral Surgery in St. Louis. From the time I scheduled the appointment - to the time I exited the premises , I now know what a " team of professionals " actually means. Dr.Hosch is what every dentist and oral surgeon should strive to be. All my life, I have feared dental work , but as soon as I get some things " off my plate " so to speak, I am going to return to that office and start listening to their recommendations of what needs to be done to improve my overall oral health. Dr.Hosch and each member of his staff that I came in contact with today are at the top of their game!!!! Was having problems with a molar that had a root canal in 1993. My dentist referred me to Southwest Oral Surgery in Crestwood for extraction. Terrified as to what this meant. Dr. Kramer and his assistant Karen were wonderful. Dr. Kramer explained everything step by step. Although I would rather have not lost the tooth, my experience with Dr. Kramer was great. 10 minutes to numb (and he checked several areas with some instrument to make sure I was totally numb), less than 10 minutes to extract and 10 minutes in a recovery area. I have had nothing but amazing service here. The ladies in the office are so sweet and the doctors are amazing. Today I went to get a wisdom tooth removed that had a giant hole in it and I was miserable and in horrible pain for a month and a half. I had Dr. Gregg Hosch remove it and he was absolutely wonderful! He made sure I was calm and helped me feel comfortable. He was fast and so sweet. I must say my time at Southwest Oral Surgery on Watson was well spent today. Dr. GH was fantastic in keeping me calm as well as aware. He even called me just a few moments ago to see how I feel. Since I thankfully have no wisdoms left, I won't be returning for that reason obviously. BUT if you do, give them a chance, give them a call and just set up an orientation.
