Goddard School York

We absolutely love the Goddard School of York. We recently moved across the country which was a huge change for our 5 year old. We were nervous for his transition, but he came home loving his new teachers and school from day 1. In the few months he’s been there, we’ve been shocked at how much he’s learned. Their curriculum is more advanced than his last preschool, but the way they approach learning was easier for my son to grasp. He used to get frustrated at his last school and feel like he was stupid, but Goddard has made him feel very competent. He has so much fun going to school. They are very organized with providing information to the family. The entire staff is amazing too.

The teachers are wonderful — they genuinely care, are open to feedback, and consistently communicate with parents about our child’s progress and any changes in plans. We truly feel like part of a community. I highly recommend the Goddard School — they’ve become like family to us.

The caregivers are incredibly nurturing, attentive, and dedicated to fostering a warm and stimulating environment. Our 5yo has thrived here, and we feel confident that he is more than prepared for kindergarten. The structured learning activities, creative play, and thoughtful curriculum have helped him build essential skills in literacy, numeracy, and social interaction. Our 2yo has also flourished under the loving guidance of the staff. The team provides a perfect balance of play-based learning, gentle encouragement, and engaging activities that support early development.

Their love for learning has blossomed, and we credit the Goddard School for setting such a strong foundation. We’ve seen tremendous growth in language skills, independence, and confidence—all thanks to the thoughtful approach taken at this daycare.

Everyone at the Goddard School are so friendly and caring to our children.

My son has been enrolled at Goddard when he was an infant and now when he is a toddler. Goddard has nurturing teachers and is very organized. The teachers here really love children and it is not just a job it’s a responsibility to really care for these children and have patience.
