Goddard School Summerville

Goddard has been amazing for my girls. We feel like a big family. They have great directors and amazing teacher and they really genuinely care about the kids. We are so grateful to apart of such a great happy community!!

My son has attended The Goddard School of Summerville for 7 months and he is absolutely thriving. I was very nervous to start him in childcare after primarily being home with us - afraid the adjustment would be a rough transition. Within his first week, it was obvious he was comfortable and starting to feel safe in his environment. Since then, we have continued to watch him grow and are amazed at the things he has learned. It’s never a fight to get him out the door in the morning because he’s so excited to go to “school.” Outside of his own development, we’re so grateful to the staff for helping us along the way and never passing judgment if we ask for their opinions on how to go about potty training, disciplining, or picky eating, etc. We feel just as supported as our child seems to feel. I can’t recommend them enough if you’re looking for childcare in the Nexton area!

After trying multiple daycares, finding Goddard has been a game-changer for our family. With two children enrolled, I’ve been consistently impressed by the thoughtfulness they bring to both curriculum and social development.
When my son first started, he was behind on some foundational skills. Goddard didn’t just catch him up — they sparked a genuine love of learning in him. That’s something no checklist or benchmark can fully capture, and it means everything as a parent.
What sets Goddard apart is their commitment to excellence, from the quality of their teachers to the environment they’ve created for children to thrive. My son is now heading into kindergarten fully prepared, both academically and socially, and I couldn’t be more grateful.

The teachers are attentive and patient, and the facility is meticulously maintained. They invest considerable time in interactive curriculum, even for the very young ones, which seems to really help their development. Our child loves it.

We are very pleased with The Goddard School at Summerville. The owner, the admin staff are easily available to address your concerns or request. The teachers are wonderful too. We started in bridge classroom and now in preschool class, so far we are very satisfied. If you are concerned about the cost , the extra cost is worth the care that your child gets at this school. It’s very clean too , their play area is also well maintained and clean. We are glad we found this school for our son and we are beyond grateful for the teachers, Ms.Teagan, Ms. Sara and Ms. Riley.

Both of our children have been at Goddard and we had a great experience. The staff was communicative and supportive. We enjoyed all of the activities they would do each week. Our kids developed so much during their time at Goddard. Thank you!

The level of attentiveness given to every child that walks through the door is amazing. They genuinely love and care about your child and do everything they can to let your child be the best version of themselves starting from infant stage on. SHRIMP ROOM!

We have had a great experience with the Goddard School at Nexton! The staff is kind, professional, and attentive, and our kids are happy and thriving. The teachers truly care about the kids and are invested in their growth and continued learning!
We have been sending our 3 year old there since the school opened in July 2024 and we have seen so much growth! He is excited to go to school and always talks about how he loves his teachers! The curriculum is engaging and we see how much he learns but also has fun while doing so!
Our daughter started in infants and the teachers in that class have been nothing short of amazing. It feels like they treat our daughter as if she was one of their own. We Highly recommend Goddard!

Absolutely amazing school!! From top to bottom they cover everything in the best way possible. They always make everyone feel safe and feel as if it’s another home/family!! They excel in putting our kids in the best environment to set them up for success... Between music man, stretch & grow, pizza Friday’s and all the special activities they do each week, there is never a dull moment. They always keep them engaged/entertained and our daughter loves coming here each day and honestly some days never want to leave lol
