God Chosen Development Center Decatur

I will just put this here because I'm too frustrated to write properly. I cannot wait till Friday to NOT pay these ppl anything else. Over a $15 balance, I cannot get the tax ID info or account ledger info. LOL it’s ridiculous. Besides the smell, I don’t want to talk out of anger but I could go on & on!

For seven months, my child attended God Chosen with no behavioral issues. Over the last month, after a new teacher joined the classroom, my child's behavior has completely changed, exhibiting an unusual reluctance to enter the classroom.
While I accept disciplinary action when necessary, a recent suspension was for four days, directly violating the school’s stated three-day procedure. This, combined with the Thanksgiving break, means she misses significant time.

The school has been unwilling to look into the cause of this uncharacteristic misbehavior. I requested the director review camera footage to see if something is happening in the classroom that is contributing to this sudden shift. I am disappointed that they are prioritizing lengthy suspensions over investigating the core issue affecting my child's wellbeing.

A friend recently recommended this daycare to me. From the moment I walked in, the staff were warm, welcoming, and clearly passionate about what they do. The classrooms were clean, and organized I’m excited to say I’ll be signing my little brother up soon!

Came in looking for a nice daycare for my daughter!! The staff welcomed me with open arms… prices are reasonable! Go check them out!

From The Moment That I Walked Into The Building I noticed how fresh the facility smelled . I also observed how colorful the walls and classrooms were. My favorite was the motivational quotes on the walls of the hallway. Which provides for an excellent learning environment for kids ❤️ Everyone was very nice and professional. The employees greeted me and my family with smiling faces and was there to answer any questions that we had!! The director was very friendly and I saw that she was very interactive with the staff and others. This is definitely a GREAT CHOICE if you are looking for a nice, caring facility where your child will learn and thrive!! If you don’t believe me, just check it out for yourself !!! 5 Stars ⭐️

I went on a tour the other day at this location. Looking for enrollment for my son. The staff seem pleasant and greeted me at the door. I would not sign my child up at this establishment because there are no windows in the classroom. There is a not so clean smell in this establishment. They were so happy to say they are the cheapest. Which to me is a red flag. I’m not looking for cheap for my son. I am looking for safety, development, passion, and caring people.

God Chosen Development Center has been so welcoming since I decided to enroll my daughter. I feel confident in knowing that she is in good hands when I drop her off everyday. I love that the staff knows all the children and families so well. My daughter has been here for about 3 months and I’m excited to see her growth as time goes on!

dropping your 3 month old for the first time is emotional but knowing your child is in good hands is so comforting from day one. We are so thankful for the love and care they have shown our son and feel so blessed that he’s in the best hands.
