As far as the roof itself goes it looks great and doesn’t leak. Everything else not so much. Called multiple roofers for an estimate. Garvin shows up with 3 options. We really like the metal shingle and decide to go that route. I should’ve asked WAY more questions about the contract but that is my fault. The big thing was the roof deck. I asked for pricing for for tear off, deck replacement and roofing. I was told at least twice that the decking may not need replacement and well cross that bridge when we get there. Turns out I needed it (Shocker). Would’ve been nice to know it would cost almost 10k more up front but again, I didn’t push and get that answer up front and they had already tore off the roof. So we scrambled and ended up having to finance. 1 year interest free financing sounds fantastic! 1 small detail left out of that conversation was it is deferred interest. Whatever....

They put the snow stop bar below our dormer windows! If the snow were to pile up it would put the water into our house! They didn’t ask us about a light on the roof of the garage. We would’ve asked them to not put the roof around it but to remove it! They made the exhaust fan of the garage to stick. It’s never turned again since. I could hear the workers bickering amongst themselves. Did not give me confidence. We had a leak and it’s been repaired but looks horrible where they made the repairs.

I love my Garvin metal roof as it is beautiful and reliable. I get compliments from my neighbors and I love that there is a lifetime transferable warranty. It will help in resale someday! The install was easy and took about 2-3 days. The crew was professional and cleaned up after themselves. A well deserved 5 star review!
