I didn’t love my experience because my entire pregnancy I shared my concerns about anesthesia because of my previous experience. I met with anesthesia during my pregnancy in ordered to be proactive and still when the time came for my spinal, I felt that my concerns were dismissed and downplayed and I ended up needing general anesthesia because the spinal did not work, which was my exact reason for sharing concerns my entire pregnancy. The anesthesiologist who was unable to place my spinal correctly seemed to have a false sense of confidence and I feel that’s what led to me needing to go under. I missed the birth of my child and was unable to breastfeed for the first 24 hours because of his error.
