After having a couple bad experiences with anesthesia, I was nervous going into this last surgery. My anesthesiologist came in and already had read through my file about my previous experiences and reassured me this time everything would go smoothly, and it did! I’m so thankful as my pain was able to be managed this go around. Thanks so much!

On site, the Anesthesiologist was great. Good bedside manners. Explanation of side effects, lacking. I had a CSF leak that landed me in the ER four days later. I was told by the ER doctor, the Anesthesiologist in the ER, and the PA at my two week post op that all had reached out to inform VanAlsten (?) of what happened. No follow up whatsoever.

Knowledgeable, attentive, detailed
