Fenix Physical Therapy & Performance

My husband has a really bad back. He has tried other physical therapy, acupuncture, even injections in his spine. Nothing gave him lasting relief. He was to the point where he couldn’t mow the lawn, play golf, or even walk into stores from the parking lot. When traveling, We needed to put him in a wheelchair to get him to airport gate.
We heard about Austin from our family physician and we decided to try Fenix PhysicalTherapy. With treatments and exercises he can now do all the things he could’t do. In just 8 weeks he was back mowing the lawn and golfing. The last time we traveled we didn’t need a wheelchair to get to the gate. Austin is truly the Magic Man ( we tease him about this) We are so thankful we found Austin. He is the best.

I have been dealing with chronic pain for about 8 years after sustaining an injury to my right knee during my time in the military. It limited my ability to do things I love such as work out and run due to aches, pains, and swelling. Since working with Austin I am pain free and able to do all of my workouts without nagging pain or the fear of reinjury. I was very thankful for my reference to Austin at Fenix Physical Therapy. I had injured my lower back while performing a snatch during crossfit. I was unable to stand up straight or lift anything right after the injury and for the next couple of days. Working in a physically demanding job I was nervous how an injury like this would affect my performance and also worried it would become a recurring injury if not addressed. Austin treated the injury and I was back at full capability by the end of the week. He was very informative and provided guidance on preventing injury moving forward. He also provided different mobility exercises to continue with on my own to further strengthen the injured area. I highly recommend him to anyone experiencing any pain that they cannot fix on there own.

I’ve never received better care

I went from nonstop pain in my neck and insane headaches just 6 short weeks ago (6 treatments/visits) to now that pain is almost completely gone. I’ve dealt with chronic headaches most of my adult life and then after injuring my my neck my pain had me almost bed ridden. I am amazed how quickly we wer able to handle my pain by finding the root of my injury and where my pain was coming from. Not only did I get to work one on one with my Physical Therapist every week but then I went home armed with an incredible tool AN APP! He would add excrcises for me to work on and we could keep in contact and hold me accountable! Revolutionary for my care. I really felt like I was able to make great progress quickly because of his unique style of care. I can’t recommend Austin Fair and Fenix Physical Therapy highly enough! Thank you for giving me my mobility back!

I sought out a physical therapist via my primary care physician because of several issues I was having associated with my ability to walk. I had been to physical therapists previously, but never saw a significant improvement. The therapist would give me a sheet of paper with exercises drawn on them and I went in two or three times a week while a tech sat near me off and on as I did my exercises. I then repeated the same exercises at home several times a week. I finally got to the point where my difficulty in walking was causing a limp and a degree of pain when I walked too much. My first visit with Austin Fair was a very pleasant surprise. He worked with me one-on-one at each visit in a private office/treatment room. That means you are his only patient for the entire hour. I explained to him that I had a fusion of the L4-L5 as well as a laminectomy to relieve pressure on the sciatic...

So pleased! A few short weeks of physical therapy with Austin Fair enabled me to put the pain of achilles tendinitis behind me. On my first visit with Austin I was in pain, having trouble walking, could not go up and down stairs and was kept up at night from the aching in my tendons. Austin's plan of therapy includes a phone app for exercise in addition to office visits. His knowledge and expert treatment gave me back the ability to resume my active lifestyle! Highly recommended
