I genuinely thought Physical Therapy was for old people 😬 or people just out of serious surgery. But turns out, Physical therapy was exactly what I needed to end my knee pain and help my knee feel more stable when working out. If you’re in pain and think “eh, my pain isn’t that serious I don’t need physical therapy”, you’re wrong!

I started therapy with Austin at Fenix PT & P last January. When starting therapy, I could barely walk and was in pretty constant pain. I also had been falling fairly often. He worked with me; first to get the pain level down, then to increase my motor strength and balance. I have been so very pleased with the results. Now, it is totally up to me for more improvements. Austin was patient, knowledgeable and strong. He will not keep giving you appointments if it isn’t working. Austin worked on my husband for a different problem. After about a month, Austin suggested he go to a physician/surgeon since no progress had been made. I respected the honesty.

I am 78 years old and haven’t played golf in years. I worked with Austin for several months regaining my long lost flexibility. I am amazed at the way I can move now and be free of pain. With the help of a golf pro I am learning to play the game again the correct way. I am amazed at the length of my drives and the ease of my swings. This is the greatest program I have ever encountered and though affordable it was worth the cost in money and time. Thanks, Austin, for your efforts on my behalf.

Spent 2 weeks with 2 sessions a week and feel so healthier, mobile, and athletic. I do not hurt so much after golfing 18 and have more energy when done. I believe I am hitting the ball a bit farther. Am excited to continue the exercises and increase my flexibility.

I broke my wrist and had surgery with a plate and 9 screws. I was now in need of PT.
I couldn't make a fist, flex, extend or rotate my wrist when I started.
After working with Austin it wasn't long before I could start making a fist, and moving my wrist. Austin is amazing and awesome! It was a good experience and I am doing great now!

Austin was great to work with and very knowledgeable on treating conditions that hinder a good golf swing. For me I needed to improve hip rotation and follow through. The exercises recommended help to strengthen certain areas essential to a good swing. I was referred to Austin by my primary Dr. for balance issues and frequent falls. . Austin started right away with assessments and exercises to help strengthen my body. A week later an incisior muscle weakness was found as my foot was hurting me. Austin then incorporated that into the treatment. Two weeks after that I had an ankle sprain which was extremely painful. Again, Austin diagnosed the problem and has been working on it for the past two weeks. Now we can go back to the balance issues. Have had interactions with Austin before through seeing family members get care from him and was impressed by his care and concern for them. I ended up needing to go in for my own therapy and once a diagnosis was made and a recovery plan set up Austin took the time to talk to me about the PT field, knowing that I was studying to get into PT school. I highly recommend Fenix Physical Therapy. I started seeing Austin after dealing with pain in my shoulder, neck, back, and bicep. On my own I could not understand where the pain had originated or what had caused it. The pain was interfering with everyday tasks, such as driving and exercising. Austin was thorough in testing and diagnosing the problem and he provided essential physical therapy and care to alleviate the pain. One of the most important elements of care that Austin provided was to educate me on how to use my body to prevent future injuries and exercises to strengthen that area. The service and care I received was critical to helping me return to normal, pain free, function.

I have been to Dr. Fair twice now for injuries and have to say I'm impressed with him. My first injury was my shoulder from playing Frisbee Golf. I had so much pain in my shoulder that I couldn't sleep at night. I couldn't do the things I loved to do. Fishing, Frisbee Golf and basketball all got put on the back burner til I was referred to him by a friend. First visit was awesome he worked on my shoulder and came up with some treatment options that started later that day. 6 or 7 weeks later with the weekly office visits plus the exercises I had to do at home with an app on my phone I was back to my normal self. I can actually cast my fishing pole, throw my Frisbee disc and shoot some hoops with no pain in my shoulder.
