Epic Dog Academy should be your first choice in dog training. Not only does Vince and his team have an effective method but they treat each dog like it’s their own. They are kind and generous and the best at their jobs! From aggression to safety they address each area with a system that works. After the initial training with your dog, they follow up with a week of training with the owners. This insures that you and your dog are both successful! Haley was our at home trainer and she helped us understand how to continue to use the tools they have given our dog. She is patient and kind and made sure we understood Epic’s methodology so we could continue to work together with our dog Finn to obtain that happy and healthy family pet relationship we all dream of! I came to the Epic Dog Academy with my problematic, overly hyper, sometimes agressive Doxie named Peter. I was very impressed with the presentation and in home consultation. Vince was able to immediately show me improvement on Peters part. I knew that enrolling peter in the academy was the way to go.

Reading some of the comments left by people claiming that the dogs are abused or neglected leaves me flabbergasted. After enrollment, Vince and Olivia offered me the opportunity to come out and visit the FACILITY at any time during Peters 3 week “education”. And I did so. The campus is a beautiful parcel of land in Temecula Wine Country and is situated so I could visit my dog privately or in a group setting. There were other pet parents there also. They even offered me cold water! The customer service is amazing. They truly care for the dogs at Epic Dog Academy.

First I want to say what a relief finding the Epic Dog Academy was. I was at wits end with my dog. It was not enjoyable like I first imagined having a dog would be. I was getting pulled on the leash he was barking at everything ans everyone. I wanted to take him to the dog park nope not a good idea he was out of control and it was stressful almost to a point of I couldnt take it any longer. I interviewed 3 companies and then I had Epic come to my home to meet Oliver for their consultation. Vince came and let me express my fustration with Oliver long story short i ended up signing up for an Off leash program with Hailey as my trainer i waited a few weeks and boy was i impressed with Hailey after just one day Oliver was Manageable. We brought our 1yr old Australian Shepherd to Vince and his team. We have had dogs for the past 30 years and never had difficulty training any of them ourselves. Koda (the Aussie was a completely different story. Tons of energy and too smart for his own good. Epic took him for 3 weeks ( very hard to give him up for that long) but now 2 weeks after training was finished, he is the same wonderful loving dog who now obeys us and is a pleasure to walk and play with. We were very afraid he would lose his zest for life and be changed. Not at all. Now he just channels it. He is truly an EPIC dog now. Read more >

We’ve been training with Vincent Sheilds owner of Epic Dog Academy for over one year. The results we have seen with our German Shepherd has been phenomenal. We’ve used other trainers in the past and nothing has compared with the results that we have gotten with Vincent. He takes pride in not only knowing every dog and their owner but makes sure everyone ones specific needs are met. Our dog Triten is a trained service animal with excellent obedience.
