Ellenwood Academy 7

My boys (3&4) have been attending Ellenwood academy 7 for a few weeks now and I have to say, they are enjoying every minute of it. They come home singing and overly excited to share what they’ve learned on a day to day. We’re new here but I have no don’t that we will remain at Ellenwood even when my 4yo attends kindergarten in the fall.
FULL TRANSPARENCY….Now were there a couple mishaps, yes. But that didn’t deter me from keeping my boys there. Why? In each occurrence the owner and the staff proceeded just as I would as their mother. To me it’s not all about what happened, it’s about the steps taken to 1. COMMUNICATION!!! 2. Assure it doesn’t happen again by coming up with ways to avoid 3. Treating my children with the love and care that they would their loved ones!!!

The owner and staff really care about the children. They're not sitters, it's truly an early learning academy. My son has blossomed so much since he started here a year ago, he happily runs into his class every morning! We have a beautiful little girl who attended Ellenwood Academy. Unfortunately with us moving further away she had to stop going , but me and my family had to take the time to give them their flowers! Everyday that our daughter came home she learned a new sight word. She brought home worksheets that helped her write her name and letters . SHE LEARNED NUMBERS COLOR ANIMALS ETC. She made so many friends and LOVES HER TEACHERS!!! ALL OF THEM. My daughter was being potty trained and they really took the time to communicate with us and keep her on the right track. I love this day care so much!!! This is the only one that we could trust that our daughter was safe and well taken care of . We’ve been a part of the Ellenwood Academy 7 family since 2022 and we are so glad to have found a school home for our children! We have a 4, 3, and 11 month old in their care. We love the level of care and attentiveness they receive and that they’re learning - not just being watched all day. The owner and director are very communicative and a pleasure to “work” with. And the staff/teachers truly enjoy working with the kids. My littles come home and say “I LOVE Ms. xxx” for a few of their teachers - and that says a lot coming from a child. My daughter has been attending here since October and honestly i have ZERO complaints , the daycare is SUPER CLEAN , and unlike other daycares she never comes home sick , they are really structured through out the day and i truly enjoy the updated pictures so im able to still be involved , the staff is super friendly and they communicate very well , they truly build a relationship with your child and it feels like a safe space for your kids , i have no doubt that they are in good hands 🙌🏾 if your looking for a daycare this should be your option! My son has attended for nearly 2 years now. You can tell that there is a level of care, expertise and top tier quality in the learning environment. When your toddler can come home and point out colors, and shapes without being asked, I'm amazed! Ellenwood Academy 7 is THE BEST School in Henry county, GA. Not only are all the teachers highly qualified with years of experience but they actually TEACH. I have 2 year old and 5 year old who attends the Academy. My daughter knows all of her sight words and has been asking for more books to read! My 2 year old son counts to 30 and knows all of his colors. I am big on learning and not just being a babysitter. So, I am highly pleased! The students have curriculums, activities, and are fed a good lunch and several snack throughout the day. They also accept CAPS if needed. Before my children started attending this academy, my son would be sick EVERYDAYYY! It got to the point where I had to pull them out of previous daycares because my son is very immunocompromised. I made the decision to bring my 1 year old here almost a year ago , and it has been the best decision I have made for him. Firstly, the school is very clean & everything is very organized. They help the kids wash their hands as soon as they walk through the door which I love. My son lights up everytime he is greeted at the door which is always. They will welcome every child in personally. When they come to the door to greet my child, that makes me feel comfortable. He loves learning new things. The director , Mrs. Miller is a stickler for education, she makes sure our children are learning new skills that they can carry with them forever. He is always very clean when I pick him up. Finding that perfect place for your child is important. However, when you find that place where you and your child are at peace it's amazing. My child thrives here and has grown in leaps and bounds. The school is focused on the whole child. My son has a lot of energy, and they provided a safe space for emotional, physical as well as educational development. From the first time my child met the owner director Danette Miller, they gave her a hug and couldn't wait to come to school. She has a love and heart for kids, and you can see it. Children are true tellers of character and to see them hug her and tell her hello/goodbye it warms my heart. I love that my son comes home happy every day.
