This 7-day challenge was amazing. In such a short period of time, I was able gain more insight about what is holding me back from pursuing my dreams, as well as the steps to take to help me get out of my own way and make strides to achieving my 10 year goals. Through the class, I was able to get a better understanding of my purpose and the importance of me walking in my purpose to benefit others. Since taking thechallenge, I've have began to be more intentional with my days, doing something new each day that will get me closer to reaching my goals. I loved working with Dr. Rankine and her staff. The process was very extensive, and truly worth. The required detailed intake form I completed allowed me to look further at my duties and responsibilities and identify skillset and functions about myself that I overlooked and took for granted. Thereafter I met with a HR Consultant who went over my entries line by line asking me questions and explaining things to me that I documented and misunderstand. Dr. Nicole Rankine serves on the DeKalb County School District Career Technology Agricultural Education advisory board. She was selected to provide assistance with the CTAE 2018 Youth Leadership Summit, where she and her (John Maxwell) team did a phenomenal job providing leadership training to more than 200 students from across the district. Under the direction of Dr. Rankine, this interactive training session was well received by all of the student leaders of CTSO's (Career Technology Student Organizations) Dr. Rankine was very professional, energetic and knew how to keep over 200 students motivated throughout the entire day. Information shared with the students was something they could currently use, as well as apply to their post secondary endeavors.
