I have been seeing Dr. Varma for about five years now and she and her staff have always been nothing but helpful and attentive. A lot of comments here are about wait times, but you have to expect wait times in pain management as the field is saturated with patients, and the extreme regulation of the field by the government doesn't help the matter. Dr. Varma and her staff are doing great in my opinion. Instead of looking at it as "they are taking on too many patients" as another person wrote, realize that with the limited availability of pain management docs out there, this practice is doing many patients a great favor by taking them in and making a good faith effort to help them given the scarcity of resources and time available. They take you in, and you complain about the wait, but if they didn't take you, trust me, it would be much worse.

I have been with Dr. Varma and her team for 2 years now. She has been able to manage my pain to the point I am functional. I even convinced my wife who suffers from chronic back and neck pain to see her. The treatment options vary and she will find the right one for you.
I see some people complain about wait time. Listen, I can understand why sometimes there is a wait. People need help and they are good. But please know, from 6 to 7 times I see her a year maybe one time I have to wait. That wait is worth it because I receive the care needed.
