I recently went on a Leadership Expeidtion thanks to Deepwater Subsea and Impact a Hero. This was a watershed moment for my life.
Prior to the trip, I always thought of myself as fairly self-realized. The trip showed me that there much I do not know about my strengths, weaknesses, and motivations. I believe this is true for all of us and we do not realize it due to the lack of opportunities to completely remove ourselves from the static of our daily lives.
That static comes in many forms ranging from cell phones, work and family stress, to worrying about what our colleagues and loved ones think of us.
