Deck Helmet

I will never recommend Deck Helmet. I scheduled an appointment for 11am and waited until the 2hr window. At 1pm i received an eamil stating my appointment was rescheduled to 6pm. No courtesy call or notice. They never even asked if 6pm works for me. I called customer service before the 2hr window and received no assistance. Horrible!!

They listened to our wants, needs and gave great ideas on what would work better in the long run. Once work was started, communication was great, they informed every step of the way and the job took much less time than anticipated. The deck looked amazing which was a great surprise! Worst company to get your deck made. The manager tried to give a an estamate over the phone because The Who had to come did not show up so this was his solution he was so rude. Never will go to them again

Deck Helmet is a scam. 10 year warranty means two years only for labor. I've needed repairs every year for the past two years and now they want $1,950 to repair. Run from this place.

Looking for a contractor to powerwash and stain my deck, making a few alterations to the steps during the process, and had the worst experience with Deck Helmet.
I did an online scheduling 5/13 at 8:35pm for a rep to come today to discuss my project. Since that time, 40 hours later, I've received 6 phone calls, 2 emails and 2 texts to confirm my appointment or to discuss the project (even though I gave a brief description). Last phone call, he told me he was looking at my property via satellite right this minute and quoted me a price. I asked where the rep that was supposed to be here by 1:00 was, wouldn't boots on the ground be a more accurate estimate and a face to face with the client not knowing exactly what I need for the step changes? How can an estimate be given? He said, "This job will probably need an architect." I said, "Absolutely it won't." He...

I was thrilled with the work done by Deck Helmet and I’m glad that I contacted them. First, I was talking with the contractor about all my plans and changes I would like to do in my house and what would be the end-product, and he also added some good suggestions to make it more beautiful, so professional. Our deck is pretty large. It was build in three sections over a 10-year span and the "newest" part of the deck was 25 years old. It was time to do something to return our deck to something to be proud of.

Our decision was to re-do the entire surface with the newest coated composite, and Deck Helmet sent Jorge and Ludwin to start the demolition and reconstruction.

To say that Jorge is an artist is an understatement. Our deck is so much more than we thought it could be that it is jaw-dropping. Jorge made sure that the deck felt sturdy throughout, even reinforcing some of the joists to be sure that the deck was right. They finished ahead of schedule and at a reasonable price, far below other quotes.
